There wasn’t anything specific here that changed my life but they are great fundamentals to apply in life for everyone. Other than some of the stories, that is one thing I will remember from this book. Good, solid hopeful advice from a man you can respect. Don’t have a Kindle? These principles have been absolutely invaluable to me over the years, and I hope they will be for you as well. The clarity of his vision, strength of character, depth of commitment to those he led, and willingness to set a positive example all added immensely to Ohio State’s stature as a world-class institution capable of attracting the best of the best.

The Winners Manual was a unique idea for both YSU and OSU players, given to them at the start of each football season; a series of topics not only focused on the ins and outs of football, but on life itself. I have also spent the last 16 years serving my country and leadership is a necessary part of my life.
Filled with amazing quotes and stories of success, adversity, hope and love. What else can any of us ask of anyone? I loved this book, and felt like I learned a great deal even though I have never played a down of football.
AmazonGlobal Ship Orders Internationally. Tressel hits the nail on the head and I’m glad to jmi he steps up to the plate and shares his Christian faith. I’ve even shared parts of the book with my 7th grade students, who have had a few “a-ha” moments recently because of it. For example, one of his biggest principles is love. If the players really care about each other – not just for show but with a genuine love that is pure and giving – they will play their roles tressel.
Would you like to tell us about a lower price? We had to do it 20 times before we could make the team. I’m biased here cause as a Christian that hopes o coach sports someday this book really struck a chord with me.

The book ttessel formulaic and simple. It was a quick read for me if that interests any of you, it only took me one week. Great book and wonderful message.

Great book and wonderful message. Alexa Actionable Analytics for the Web. So the Ohio State football season opened this past weekend and I was not in front of the TV for the game. Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly will acquire the skills to do difficult things easily. Great for reminding us of how we should be presenting ourselves as leaders.
The down side is what happened to Coach Tressel. Anyone PSU fans included will appreciate this book and it might even help you put some things in your life in better focus. For each of us, in our everyday lives, we make an impact on others.
